Site Council
The Role of the Site Council
Every school that applies for and receives money from the California School-Based Coordinated Program is required to have an active Site Council. Our School Site Council is composed of faculty, staff and parents. The parent members are elected from the school community. PTA representatives and student (fifth grade) representatives are also often present at meetings to give updates on ongoing activities. The Site Council is responsible for overseeing implementation of the Single Plan for Student Acheivement (SPSA), allocating state funds, overseeing the school's Safety Plan, and supporting Ohlone at the school and district levels.
Site Council Meeting Schedule
Site Council meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday evening of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Ohlone Teachers Lounge. Check the calendar for specific dates. Meetings are open to the entire community.
